Location

ToorCamp will take place roughly 3 hours east of Seattle near Moses Lake, WA at a Titan-1 Missile Silo. Camping will occur on the surface and we will have special events happening below the surface.

For those coming in from out of state your options are either flying into SEA (Seattle ~200 miles away), GEG (Spokane ~90 miles away), or MWH (Moses Lake ~30 miles away).

United Express will start flying between SEA and MWH starting June 4th and we're looking into providing some shuttle service in-between MWH and the Silo during the move-in and move-out days of the camp. If you book your flight to MWH, please post your flight info to the Rideshare forums so we can arrange the proper shuttle size and pick up times.

Also, for those coming from Seattle and are into bicycling. Ken Caruso is organizing a ride out to the camp. More details can be found on the wiki.

Things are scheduled so that Wednesday, July 1st is a move in day and Monday, July 6th is move out. We will be partitioning the campground into campsite sections that can be organized by different groups.

If you are interested in organizing your own campsite, please email us at nfiltr8@toorcon.org or fill out our Campsite signup form.

Talks will happen on Thursday, July 2nd and Friday, July 3rd and Workshops will be taking place on Saturday, July 4th and Sunday, July 5th. We're currently planning special music and entertainment for every night of the camp! More details will be posted shortly.

Equipment Rental

We are offering equipment rental at the camp. If you are traveling from out of state and want to be able to rent a tent, mattress, and/or sleeping bag you can purchase your rentals on our Rental Equipment page. The equipment will be available for pickup at the ToorCamp store on-site and you must return the equipment before you leave the camp.

We are hoping that this will make it easier for people catching flights into the camp and will provide a cheaper alternative than paying extra checked baggage fees at the airport and is definitely cheaper than renting a motel room nearby.

Part of being a campsite organizer is helping fellow campers get shelter, community food, throwing parties, and possibly organizing group transportation out to the camp. The 10% discount refund can be given back to the campsite organizer to help fund these types of things, can be refunded to all of the campsite inhabitants, or donated to the ToorCon Foundation.
