w3af is a Web Application Attack and Audit Framework (written in python). The project is focused on being the best open source web audit and exploitation framework. This talk will provide an overview on the massive set of features and plugins this tool framework provides. Information will also be provided on a recent w3af side project "moth", a vm image containing a set of vulnerable web applications.
Adam Baldwin
Adam Baldwin is co-founder of nGenuity information services a Washington state based security assessment and services company. Prior to that Adam spent time at Symantec as a consultant doing network and web app pentesting, social engineering, and product enablement in both the public and private sectors. Adam has is a contributor to the w3af project and has published numerous vulnerabilities over the years most of which can be found at ngenuity.org and are focused on web technologies.
